How does it work?

Coaching is like a great conversation. A conversation that inspires you to be more in your life. The coach is trained to be a good listener and guides a client to his or her own answers as well as being a support and cheerleader for the clients personal growth.

Why would I see a Lifestyle Coach?

People see coaches for many different reasons; Because they have recognized some imbalances in their lifestyle; Because they feel stuck or unhappy with a certain aspect of their life, work, relationships or outlook in general, or because they feel inspired to make changes but don't know where to start.

What is the difference between counseling and coaching?

Coaching is a process to help you help yourself. It can apply to many life topics; work, career, relationship, health, confidence etc. It is not about looking at how the past formed who you are today, which is also valuable, but rather looking at where you are now and who you want to become. Coaching isn't appropriate for deep psychological issues. It is for people who may feel a bit stuck or unfulfilled in their lives and have reached a point where they want to make changes that will stick.

Is coaching about receiving advice from my coach?

Sometimes the coach may have tools or insights to share but most often, the process is about bringing forth out the clients own wisdom about themselves through gentle questions.
